Usually, in every culture, there are those who enjoy honor and prestige, but the weak and poor suffer humiliation.
In the case of a quarrel, the weaker one needs to take the initiative to find a mediator who will help resolve the conflict and defend him. For example, if a small guy messes with a big government institution, it will usually not go well for him. If you have a debt to the bank, they can take your money legally. You are no match for a big corporation. Even the criminal underworld works like that: if you have a debt on the black market, it’s very important to pay up even to get a loan to do it – because if you don’t pay up right away you’ll be in big trouble!
As the saying goes, “The strong eats the weak”.
But now come and see this unexpected initiative, and look at the riches of grace that Almighty God has towards us!
God couldn’t bear to watch us go to our destruction even though we deserve to be punished because we have broken his laws. As it is written;
“The wages of sin is death”. (Romans 6:23)
So God provided an escape from eternal death for us this punishment is a result of our failure and neglect of his laws. This salvation is far from religion that tries to change man from the outside without touching the root of the problem – our hearts!
But what is impossible for man is possible for God.
God, the Holy Creator, the great and mighty King of Kings, took the initiative to come from above – the great to the small, the strong to the weak. He came as Yeshua the Messiah in order to mediate between us and God.
He came to reconcile to himself those who call on his name. We have been taken from death to life:
“God’s gracious gift is eternal life in Messiah Yeshua our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
This mediator was in nature God, because he is the Word of God. He was also a man, with flesh and blood, but because he was born of above and had no earthly father, he did not inherit man’s sinful nature.
In order to redeem our souls seeped in sin, destined for destruction. We will all stand before God.
Pay attention, he is different from the first man because Adam sinned, but the Messiah knew no sin!
My request to you: Think about the Day of Judgement.
Who will protect you? Who will advocate for you?
Your religion? Your deeds? Trust me, your actions will convict you.
Have you put your trust in a prophet? Who himself needs an advocate?
Or if you pray to saints, know this: They testified that there is no mediator between God and man except one – Yeshua the Messiah, the Word of God. He became a man like us and so was able to die and to rise again and defeated Satan’s reign of death. Thus he brought freedom to all those living in fear of death. I have made another video about this: Did Yeshua claim to be God, as the Pharisees said?
Friend, it’s important to understand this whole rescue plan was God’s idea – God’s great initiative.
“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Messiah.” (2 Corinthians 5:18)
That is to say, God was satisfied by the sacrifice of Yeshua and will not hold our sins against us.
I identify with John, one of Yehsua’s disciples, when he wrote:
“This is love—not that we have loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atonement for our sins.” (1 John 4:10)
But many of us don’t enjoy this forgiveness or have the pleasure of relationship with God only those who seek God earnestly will experience all he has given us. Whoever trusts in Him will not be put to shame. For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all—richly generous to all who call on Him. For,
“Everyone who calls upon the name of Adonai shall be saved.” (Romans 10:11-13)
