God created an escape from eternal death through his Word, which became flesh.
He is the Messiah, Yeshua, who was born of the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14), in fact, all the Old Testament prophets pointed to him for thousands of years.
In the Holy Scriptures we learn that God has one Son, and that this Son is his Word, who would do the will of his Father.
God sent his Spirit upon a virgin called Mary (Matthew 1:31-32) when the fullness of time had come (Galatians 4:4). When he grew up, Yeshua was baptized by John the Baptist in front of many Jews and Gentiles.
In their hearing came a voice from heaven saying “You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!” (Mark 1:11)
In another place, Yeshua took John, Peter and James to a high mountain by themselves and a cloud enveloped them and a voice came from the cloud,
“This is my beloved Son – listen to him!” (Mark 9:7)
Satan hates the fact that God could come down and be born and now he can give us spiritual rebirth. Another fact he hates is that Yeshua died on the cross but proved his victory by rising again, because
“After disarming the principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross.” (Colossians 2:15)
So now, everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!
Redeemed!
Immediately!
When the Son of God rules in our hearts, he opens our eyes and gives us spiritual rebirth – new birth in God. He opens the eyes of our hearts to understand the Scriptures according to his will and so we can know Him personally. This was one of God’s goals that he was pleased to accomplish through the Messiah – that’s why he said,
“This is my Son, in whom I am well pleased”.
Because only through the Messiah can we know God personally. God gave us spiritual rebirth and opened the eyes of our hearts to understand the truths of his Word, as written in the Bible.
Brothers and sisters, if you open your heart to the Messiah in these moments we’re in right now, just turn in seriousness to God as your Father, and say,
“Our Father, I trust in you, and know that you are good. I have confidence in your mercy that put Yeshua, your only Son, the Messiah, on the cross for me, to take away the sin of my flesh and pay the atonement for me in his blood. Please cleanse my conscience, give me peace, come and rule in my heart, make me a new creation, give me new birth in you, open the eyes of my heart to know you and to follow you, give me power to face the challenges that I am up against.”
Brothers and sisters, if you sincerely prayed these words, God will answer you. I encourage you to go to God whole-heartedly. Open the Bible – the Old and New Testaments, find it wherever you can on the internet, through friends or in the library – start to read the Word of God. God is faithful to this and to strengthen and build you – he will give you the grace that you need in every area. Let your turning to Him be true, and hold onto faith in the Messiah who testified of himself:
“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. (John 14:6)
Jesus Christ is the perfect and innocent sacrifice. And he is the way. And he is the truth. And he is the life.
God is with you.
